In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Mexico showcased intriguing trends in weekly downloads and active user metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Domino's Pizza México saw its weekly downloads peak at around 162K in late January, with a subsequent decline to approximately 33K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users reflected a similar pattern, with a high of 906K in January, dropping to around 484K by the quarter's end.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads, reaching about 68K in the last week of March. Its active user base also increased, peaking at approximately 693K in the same period.
Starbucks México maintained a steady download rate, with a noticeable increase to nearly 29K in mid-March. Active users saw growth, peaking at around 907K by the end of the quarter.
Burger King® Mexico had a stable download pattern, averaging around 20K weekly downloads. The app's active user count displayed a gradual increase, reaching about 176K in late March.
KFC México downloads showed a recovery mid-quarter, culminating in approximately 26K in mid-March. Weekly active users increased steadily, peaking at around 214K.
