In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of leading film and television apps in Spain showcased interesting trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Disney+ demonstrated a fluctuating weekly revenue pattern, starting strong with approximately $1.1M in early January and ending the quarter with around $834K. Weekly downloads saw a peak of 68.5K in the first week, gradually declining to 32.1K by the end of March. Meanwhile, weekly active users decreased from 1.76M to 1.5M over the quarter.

HBO Max: Stream Movies & TV experienced a notable revenue surge in late February, reaching about $616K. Download numbers started at 88.4K, decreasing to 48.2K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated, with a high of 987K in mid-February, closing the quarter at 936K.

Amazon Prime Video maintained a steady revenue flow, peaking at $338K in late February. Downloads started at 114.8K, dropping to 41.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 2.19M initially, with a slight decline to 1.82M.

Crunchyroll saw consistent growth, with revenue peaking at $119K in March. Downloads increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, reaching 25.1K. Active users also rose, from 314K to a high of 451K.

atresplayer: Series y Noticias experienced a revenue peak of $114K in late February. Downloads decreased from 26.2K to 20.7K, while active users saw an increase, peaking at 648K in early February.
