In the first quarter of 2025, the top five investing and financial management applications on a unified platform in Kenya showcased diverse trends in performance. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, reveals intriguing insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Bitcoin Mining: Crypto Miner from Lowhill Games Oy experienced a noticeable rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $246 in the last week of March. Downloads increased significantly mid-quarter, reaching 921 in late February, while weekly active users grew from 3.7K to 4.5K by the end of March.
GoMining - Mining App by Yucca Digital saw a steady increase in active users, reaching about 1K in the final week. The app's revenue fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at $104 in late February. Downloads also showed an upward trend, hitting 230 in the same week.
Forex Wizard by Daniel Amooti Mwesigwa had a strong start with revenue peaking at $148 in mid-January. However, the downloads were minimal, and active user data was not available.
CT Farm from Cryptotab had a consistent revenue stream, with a slight dip in March, ending at $26. The download numbers rose towards the end of the quarter, reaching 306 in mid-March. Active users increased from 2.6K to 2.7K.
Stocks To Buy Now: AI Signals by Hello Stocker showed a spike in revenue in late February, hitting $135, although downloads remained low throughout the quarter.
