In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top maps and navigation apps in Germany showed diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride saw fluctuating download numbers, beginning the quarter with around 84K, dipping to 56K, and rising again to about 75K by the end of March. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, starting at 1.4M and slightly declining to 1.1M.
Blitzer.de experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $145.8K at the end of March. Weekly downloads also rose, reaching 50K in the final week. Active users saw a general upward trend, peaking at 2.3M in mid-March.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained consistent download growth, starting at 42K and ending the quarter at 40K. Active users increased from 801K to over 1M, showing a strong engagement.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a notable rise in downloads, from 18K to 33K, with active users peaking at 708K in early March.
Radarbot Speed Camera Detector reported a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $23.6K by mid-March. Downloads increased to 18K, while active users remained stable around 116K.
