In the first quarter of 2025, the top Match 3 games in Germany showcased varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active user trends. Here's a closer look at each game's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Royal Match by Dream Games experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 41K and settling at around 30K by the end of March. Revenue saw fluctuations, peaking at approximately $1.8M at the start of the quarter and stabilizing near $1.5M. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.4M, with a slight increase towards the end of March.
Gardenscapes from Playrix showed a notable decline in downloads from 37K to about 17K throughout the quarter. Revenue peaked at $1.03M in early March but ended the quarter at approximately $722K. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 1.3M and closing the quarter at around 1.1M.
Candy Crush Saga by King maintained relatively stable download numbers, averaging 22K weekly, with a slight dip to 16K by the end of March. Revenue varied, peaking at $1M in late March, while active users remained steady around 1.2M.
Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story from Microfun Limited saw a decrease in downloads from 53K to 15K over the quarter. Revenue peaked at $601K mid-March and settled at $485K. Active users began at 247K and remained fairly consistent, ending at 249K.
Fishdom also by Playrix, experienced a decline in downloads from 22K to 7K by the end of March. Revenue peaked at $593K in late January, tapering down to $417K. Active users showed a slight increase, closing the quarter at 1.16M.
