In the first quarter of 2025, the NFT gaming market in Costa Rica saw varied performance across top applications, drawing insights from Sensor Tower's comprehensive data.
IMVU: Social Chat & Avatar app exhibited a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $337 and concluding the quarter with $288. Downloads peaked mid-quarter, reaching around 1.8K in early February, while active users showed a notable increase from 2.1K to 4.8K by the end of March.
ScratchJr maintained a consistent download growth, peaking at 717 in early March. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 709 to 1.2K over the quarter.
Age of Apes saw a decline in both downloads and active users as the quarter progressed. Downloads decreased from 682 to 185, and active users dropped from 1.4K to 754.
Yoga Workout experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 620 and ending at 254. Active users also showed a downward trend, moving from 2.4K to 1.4K by the end of March.
Highrise: Avatar Virtual World had a mixed performance. Revenue saw a peak of $423 in late January, while downloads remained relatively low, with a high of 179 in February. Active users showed a slight decline from 254 to 142.
