In the first quarter of 2025, the top personal finance budgeting and planning applications in Austria demonstrated varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Finanzguru - Konten & Verträge saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $5.6K and peaking at $7.4K in early January before gradually declining to $3.8K by the end of March. Downloads dropped significantly from early January's 3.5K to just 721 by the end of the quarter, while active users decreased from 27.3K to 23.4K.
Splitwise maintained relatively stable revenue, hovering around $400 to $600 throughout the quarter. Download numbers improved towards the end, rising from 1.4K to over 2.1K. Active users also showed a resurgence, starting at 103.7K, dipping mid-quarter, and then recovering to 95.5K.
MoneyControl Spending Tracker experienced a slight revenue increase, with figures ranging from $110 to $317. Downloads were minimal, peaking at just 123 at the start of the quarter and falling to 31 by the end. Active users remained stable around 1.1K.
Outbank: Intelligent Banking had modest revenue growth, starting at $111 and spiking at $424 in early March. However, downloads were negligible, often reaching zero, and active users decreased from 115 to 93.
YNAB showed fluctuating revenue, beginning at $158, with a peak of $321 in late January, closing the quarter at $123. Downloads remained consistently low, ranging from 6 to 116. Active users saw a slight decline from 296 to 232.
