In the first quarter of 2025, the personal finance apps market in Chile showed diverse performance trends across the top five applications on a unified platform. Here's a closer look at each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Splitwise experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.5K by late February before stabilizing around $600. The app saw a high in downloads in early February with 2.4K, but this number gradually declined to 900 by the end of March. Active users peaked at 28.4K in early February, followed by a steady decrease to around 20.4K.
Daily spending demonstrated a significant increase in downloads, reaching a high of 9.5K mid-February, before tapering off to 2.8K by early March. Active users rose to 5.9K in late February but saw a decline to 2.7K by the end of the quarter.
Money Manager - Budget Planner maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a notable peak of 2.4K in early January. Active users showed an upward trend, concluding the quarter at 4.2K.
AFP Habitat Chile had consistent download numbers, peaking at 1.5K in late January. Active users fluctuated, starting at 15.2K and ending at approximately 12K.
Money Tracker-Expense & Budget recorded a gradual decline in downloads from 1.5K at the start of January to 845 by the end of March. Revenue showed a slight decrease over the quarter, starting at $149 and ending at $123. Active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 5K.
