In the first quarter of 2025, the pirate games category in Ireland saw various trends across top apps, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five pirate games on a unified platform.
Sea of Conquest: Pirate War from FunPlus International AG showed an interesting pattern in its metrics. Weekly revenue peaked at around $2.1K in early January, before seeing a general decline to approximately $702 by mid-March, with a slight recovery to $1.6K at the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 134 and ending at 79, while active users increased from 596 to 774 by early February, then settled at 677 by the end of March.
Age Of Sails by Estoty experienced a modest revenue peak of $107 in early March. Downloads grew significantly from 8 in early January to 193 by early March, and active users rose from 35 to 302 during the same period, before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.
Pirate Raid - Caribbean Battle by SayGames Ltd saw declining revenue, starting at $79 and dropping to $17 by the end of March. Downloads mirrored this trend, starting at 49 and ending at 16. Active users showed sporadic activity, beginning at 60 and ending with 15.
Bounty Bash from Limebolt had a revenue peak of $118 in early February, but this declined to $19 by the end of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 10 and 37.
Finally, Pirate Ships・Build and Fight from HeroCraft Ltd. maintained a steady revenue trend, starting at $26 and ending at $12. Downloads were consistent, ranging from 8 to 26 throughout the quarter, and active users remained stable, hovering around 40 to 50.
