2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top shopping apps in New Zealand showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower's data.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 15.6K in mid-January. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained strong, starting at approximately 786K and ending the quarter at around 856K.
New World NZ saw a significant rise in downloads, especially in February, with numbers reaching up to 19.5K. Active users also increased steadily, from 112K at the beginning of the quarter to 137K by the end.
Everyday Rewards maintained a steady download rate, with a notable peak of 9.9K in the last week of March. Active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter with approximately 256K.
ShopBack: Cashback & Rewards demonstrated a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 9.3K in late February. Active users also rose, starting at 27.8K and reaching about 35K by the quarter's end.
Finally, SHEIN - Shopping Online had a consistent download rate with a peak of 6K in the last week of March. Active users fluctuated but finished the quarter on a high note with approximately 176K.
