In the first quarter of 2025, the top simulator games in the United States showcased diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.
I Am Cat - original game experienced an impressive surge in weekly downloads, starting from 18K in mid-February and peaking at over 617K in mid-March. The game's weekly revenue also saw significant growth, reaching approximately $14.9K by the week of March 10. Active user numbers climbed steadily, ending the quarter with nearly 978K.
My Supermarket Simulator 3D saw a gradual decrease in weekly downloads from 185K at the beginning of January to around 90K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar pattern, with a decline from roughly $98K to $48K. The active users showed a downward trend as well, finishing the quarter with about 6.8K.
Skincare Time: Makeover ASMR maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 62K and 131K throughout the quarter. Despite this, the game's revenue remained at zero from mid-February onwards. Active users varied significantly, peaking at over 514K in early March before dropping to 26K by the end of the quarter.
BitLife - Life Simulator consistently generated high weekly revenue, staying above $263K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 85K. The game maintained a strong active user base, with numbers remaining above 1.4M.
Toca Boca Jr displayed steady revenue figures, consistently earning over $115K weekly. The downloads, however, showed a downward trend, decreasing from 95K to 47K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, ending the quarter at approximately 247K.
