In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top sports apps in Sweden showed varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. According to Sensor Tower, these apps have demonstrated significant activity on the unified platform, encompassing both iOS and Android users.
SportAdmin saw a consistent download pattern, starting strong in early January with 11.6K downloads, then gradually tapering to around 6.4K by the end of March. The app maintained a robust user base, experiencing an increase in active users from 136K to 161K over the quarter.
The official Vasaloppet app peaked dramatically in February with a revenue surge to $73.3K and downloads spiking at 28.8K. However, both metrics dropped significantly in March, with revenue nearly disappearing and downloads falling to just 22 by the end of the month.
Svenska Spel Sport & Casino showed stable download numbers, fluctuating between 2.9K and 4.1K throughout the quarter. Active users initially decreased but saw a resurgence, climbing from 38K in February to 46K by the end of March.
ATG experienced a steady decline in downloads from 5.2K at the start of the quarter to 2.6K by March. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 33K throughout Q1.
Flashscore: Live Scores & News maintained a solid revenue stream, increasing from $75 to $199 by March. Downloads remained consistent, typically around 2.5K weekly, while active users grew from 79K to 86K over the quarter.
