In the first quarter of 2025, the superhero game genre saw varied performance across the top five apps in Ireland. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights key trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.
Super Fighter 3: Open City by Starplay Games experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at $122 in mid-February. Weekly downloads began at 1.2K, reaching a high of 1.5K in the week of February 17, before declining to 679 by the end of March. Active users started strong at 3.1K and peaked at 3.7K, but gradually decreased to 2.7K by quarter's end.
The Superhero League 2 displayed modest revenue, peaking at $22 in early March. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 1.1K, dipping to 383, and closing at 504. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 5.5K and ending with a slight increase to 5.1K.
DC: Dark Legion™ by FunPlus International AG launched mid-March with a significant revenue surge, reaching $7.9K in late March. Downloads began at 3.1K but saw a sharp drop to 546 by the end of the month. Active users peaked at 4K, closing at 1.2K.
Web Master: Stickman Superhero showed stable revenue with minor fluctuations. Downloads started at 304, peaked at 762 in mid-February, and ended at 245. Active users maintained around 4K, peaking at 5K in late February, and concluding at 4.3K.
Slicing Hero: Ninja Slice experienced a decline in revenue after early January. Downloads started at 708, gradually decreasing to 207 by March end. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 5.2K to 5.7K over the quarter.
