The first quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the theme park games category on a unified platform in Mexico. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five games in this category.
aquapark.io from Voodoo experienced a significant peak in weekly downloads, reaching about 85K in early January. However, downloads gradually declined to around 36K by the end of March. Revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at approximately $100 in early January and then decreasing to about $40 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users began at 240K, dipped mid-quarter, and ended at 158K.
Awesome Park : Idle Game by Supercent, Inc. had a strong start with 83K downloads in the first week of January, but this number fell to 4.5K by the end of March. Revenue was relatively low, with a peak of $43 in mid-January, tapering off to $5 by the quarter's end. Active users saw a decline from 82K to just under 6K.
Disney Magic Kingdoms from Gameloft showed consistent performance in revenue, starting at $1.3K and reaching a high of $3.7K in early January before stabilizing around $2K by the end of March. Downloads spiked mid-quarter to 25K, but settled at around 4K. Active users also showed a mid-quarter surge before declining to 18K.
Carnival Tycoon: Coin Games by Wild Candle Spin LLC saw a strong start in weekly revenue, peaking at $3K in late January, then declining to $905 by the end of March. Downloads decreased from 22K to about 5K, while active users showed a steady trend, maintaining around 35K.
Lastly, WaterPark Boys also from Supercent, Inc., had a download peak of 20K at the start of the year, which decreased to 5.6K by March's end. Revenue was minimal, with a brief increase to $24 in early January. Active users dropped from 27K to 6.9K.
