This analysis, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these games, focusing on downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
Word Search Explorer® from PlaySimple Games Pte Ltd experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $204 in late February. Downloads surged to approximately 3.8K in mid-February, while active users climbed steadily from 3.8K to 9.2K by the end of the quarter.
Wordscapes, developed by PeopleFun, Inc., saw weekly revenue fluctuate, beginning the quarter with over $1K and ending around $595. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 3.2K and dropping to about 730. Active users also decreased, falling from 28.7K to 19.9K.
NYT Games: Word, Number, Logic by The New York Times Company maintained robust revenue, reaching a high of approximately $6.6K in early March. Downloads remained fairly consistent, averaging around 1.6K, while active users hovered around 12K throughout the quarter.
Cryptogram: Word Brain Puzzle from Joyteractive displayed a decline in both revenue and downloads, with revenue dropping from $321 to $131 and downloads decreasing from 3K to 542. Active users followed a similar trend, falling from 10.5K to 7.4K.
Lastly, Crossword Master - Word Puzzle by Easybrain Ltd saw a decrease in revenue from $66 to $31. Downloads peaked at 1.9K in late February before falling to 594. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 5.2K in early March.
