In the second quarter of 2025, the air travel app landscape on Android in Saudi Arabia showcased interesting trends across the top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
flynas maintained a moderate download pace throughout the quarter, with a notable peak of around 13K downloads in early May. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at approximately 131K and closing the quarter at nearly 132K.
The flyadeal App experienced a strong start with downloads peaking at 17.3K in the first week of April. However, downloads gradually declined, reaching around 5.3K by the end of June. Active user numbers began at 53K, climbing to around 61K by the quarter's end.
For Flightradar24 Flight Tracker, weekly revenue peaked at approximately $1.6K in late June. Downloads saw a significant increase mid-June, reaching 15K before settling back to around 4K. Active users saw a dramatic rise from 48K to over 89K by the end of June.
Saudia showed consistent download numbers, with a peak of 8.7K in the last week of June. Active users started at 183K, dipped mid-quarter, and then recovered to 178K by the end of June.
Finally, WINGIE - Book Cheap Flights saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 5.6K in late May. Active users followed a similar upward trend, ending the quarter at nearly 38K.
