In the second quarter of 2025, the top air travel apps in the United States on the Android platform showcased varying trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Fly Delta experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 47K in mid-May. Active users saw fluctuations, starting at 912K and reaching over 1M in late April before dropping to 877K by the end of June.
American Airlines maintained a consistent upward trend in downloads, with weekly figures reaching approximately 44K by mid-June. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 1.15M in early June before settling around 994K at the quarter's end.
United Airlines saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 44K in mid-June. Active users showed significant fluctuation, starting at 912K, peaking at 1.1M in late June, and ending at 953K.
Southwest Airlines: Travel App observed a steady incline in downloads, reaching 34K in mid-June. Active users varied widely, peaking at 1.36M in early June before decreasing to 1.2M by the end of the quarter.
Frontier Airlines had a more modest download performance, peaking at 28K in late May. Active users showed a recovery from 153K in late April to 231K by late June.
