In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Slovakia saw varied performance across the top apps on the Android platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride, developed by Bolt Technology from Estonia, witnessed a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 2.9K at the beginning of April to a peak of 5.6K in early June. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users fluctuating between 94K and 139K throughout the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride from Uber Technologies, Inc. experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching about 1.2K by mid-June. The app's weekly active users also showed a significant upward trend, rising from approximately 3.6K to around 8.3K by mid-June.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus indicated a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 331 by mid-June. Weekly active users saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, moving from 3.9K to about 2.9K.
Zoberma, a local Slovak app, showed a notable surge in weekly downloads, particularly in June, reaching a high of 542. However, no data on active users was available.
Evignet24 Official from the United Kingdom had relatively stable download numbers, slightly increasing to 125 by the end of June. Active user metrics were not provided.
