In the second quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app’s trends based on data from Sensor Tower.
Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue fluctuating around $48K to $59K, peaking at $59K in early April. Weekly downloads saw a decline from 59K at the start of the quarter to 33K by the end, while active users remained robust, varying between 1.4M and 1.6M.
EveryDollar: Budget Management showed consistent weekly revenue, mostly around $37K to $44K, with a slight peak of $44K mid-quarter. Downloads were steady, ranging from 10K to 13K, and active users hovered between 200K and 280K.
YNAB experienced stable weekly revenue, typically between $29K and $35K. Downloads remained low but steady, around 2K per week, while active users showed a slight decrease from 194K to 176K.
Monarch: Budget & Track Money saw an upward trend in weekly revenue, increasing from $30K to $37K. Downloads grew from 5K to 9K, and active users rose from 95K to over 112K by the end of the quarter.
Quicken Simplifi: Budget Smart had more modest figures, with weekly revenue between $8K and $15K. Downloads were consistent at around 1K, and active users ranged from 122K to 143K.
