In the second quarter of 2025, several crime-themed games on the Android platform showed notable performance trends in the United States. Here’s a breakdown of the top five apps based on metrics such as downloads, revenue, and active users, using data from Sensor Tower.
Lands of Jail from SINGAPORE JUST GAME TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting at about $121K and peaking at nearly $241K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, beginning with 35.2K and declining to 17.5K by the quarter's end. Active users showed a growth trend, reaching 78.8K from an initial 57.9K.
Thief Puzzle: to pass a level by TapNation maintained a steady download trend, averaging around 24K weekly downloads, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at approximately 231.9K in early June, before declining to 162.4K.
Prison Life: Idle Game from Supercent, Inc. showed a strong upward trend in downloads, growing from 16.2K to 39.1K. Active user numbers also increased, ending the quarter at 73.9K from a starting point of 32.5K. Revenue remained negligible throughout the period.
Agent Hunt – Hitman Shooter by Homa experienced modest revenue, peaking at $1.3K in the last week of June. Weekly downloads were consistent, averaging around 18K to 20K. Active users increased from 63.2K to 88.8K over the quarter.
Finally, Airport Security by Kwalee Ltd showed a steady increase in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 22.2K, before declining to 10.6K. Active users followed a similar pattern, reaching a high of 84.3K before dropping to 66.4K.
