State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
The second quarter of 2025 saw varied performance among the top maps and navigation apps in the United States on the Android platform. This analysis highlights the trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Trucker Path: Truck GPS & Fuel showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $139K in mid-May. Weekly downloads experienced a peak in mid-May with about 7.9K, while active users increased from around 100K at the start of April to over 130K by the end of June.
onX Offroad: Trail Maps & GPS witnessed a significant rise in revenue, culminating at over $106K by the end of June. Downloads surged in early June to around 31.8K, and active users grew consistently, reaching over 136K by the quarter's end.
Navionics® Boating experienced a revenue increase, peaking at approximately $95K at the end of June. Downloads remained modest but showed growth, hitting 1.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, ending at around 15.9K.
LandGlide: GPS Property Finder had a stable revenue trend, averaging around $45K weekly. Downloads began at 7.8K in early April but declined to about 4.6K by the end of June. Active users showed variability, ending the quarter at approximately 17.4K.
Gaia GPS: Offline Trail Maps saw a gradual increase in revenue, reaching about $34K by the end of June. Downloads showed a steady rise, peaking at 3.5K. Active users increased from around 55K to 77K over the quarter.
