The second quarter of 2025 saw notable trends in the performance of music and podcast applications on the Android platform in Brazil. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the top five apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $83K in early May. Weekly downloads also showed an upward trend, reaching approximately 257K in mid-June. The app maintained a stable base of weekly active users, fluctuating around 41.7M.
Deezer: Music & Podcast Player saw weekly revenue increase to about $54K by the end of June. Downloads peaked at over 51K in early May, while active users saw a slight decline, ending the quarter with approximately 4.4M.
Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts had a peak revenue of $52K in late June. Weekly downloads reached over 50K in early May, with active users increasing to approximately 2.1M by the end of the quarter.
Apple Music showed a steady revenue increase, peaking at $4.6K in late June. Downloads saw a significant spike, reaching 58K in late May, while active users decreased slightly, ending at around 207K.
Sua Música had a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at $1.9K in late June. Downloads reached a high of 43K in early June, with active users fluctuating around 712K by the quarter's end.
