In the second quarter of 2025, the top shopping apps on the Android platform in Europe showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a consistent stream of downloads, averaging over 1.1M per week. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users growing from around 36.1M to 43.7M by the end of the quarter.
SHEIN-Shopping Online saw a notable increase in downloads, culminating in a peak of approximately 753K by the end of June. Active users for SHEIN also increased, reaching 44M, reflecting its growing popularity.
Lidl Plus had a steady download rate, with numbers hovering around 350K to 450K weekly. However, active users showed a slight decline, ending the quarter at around 31M.
AliExpress - Shopping App experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 349K mid-June. Active users showed an upward trend, peaking at over 25.7M in the same period.
Finally, Trendyol - Online Alışveriş had fluctuating download numbers, with a low of 245K and a high of 355K. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 26M throughout the quarter.
