The second quarter of 2025 witnessed intriguing trends in the superhero games category on the Android platform in the United States. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
DC: Dark Legion™ from FunPlus International AG showed a fluctuating revenue pattern. Starting with $580K in early April, it gradually declined to approximately $263K by the end of June. Weekly downloads began at 31.7K and tapered to about 9.3K, while active users dropped from nearly 60K to 25K over the quarter.
MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG by Scopely maintained a steady revenue flow, with earnings fluctuating between $262K and $373K. Downloads saw variability, peaking at 17.1K in early June, while active users fluctuated around 85K to 109K.
Marvel Contest of Champions from Kabam Games, Inc. experienced a revenue surge, reaching a high of $383K by the end of June. Downloads were modest, peaking at 8.1K, and active users remained stable around 47K to 59K.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. saw revenue peaks in late April and mid-May, with figures around $524K and $308K, respectively. Downloads were consistent, with a high of 9.1K in mid-May, while active users declined from 90K to 52K.
Finally, MARVEL Future Fight by Netmarble displayed a steady revenue stream, peaking at $157K at the end of April. Downloads were highest at 3.9K in late April, and active users rose to 25.8K in early May before gradually declining.
