In the second quarter of 2025, the top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Romania demonstrated varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.
AmParcat exhibited stable weekly downloads, fluctuating between 7.2K and 8.9K. Its weekly active users increased steadily from approximately 277K to 317K by the end of June.
Petrom saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 13.3K in late June. Weekly active users also climbed significantly, starting from 83K and reaching approximately 162K.
Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, culminating at about 10.8K. The app's active user base grew from 515K to 786K, indicating strong engagement.
Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save maintained steady weekly downloads, hovering around 3.5K to 4.1K. However, active users showed a slight decline from 177K to 144K over the quarter.
Finally, UK ETA had a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 10.9K and dropping to 2.3K. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 4.2K.
