In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of consumer finance applications on iOS in Mexico showed varied trends. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data:
Banco del Bienestar Movil saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 76K and peaking at 114K in early April, before gradually declining to around 18K by the end of June. Active users remained strong, with numbers climbing from 813K to over 1.2M during the quarter.
Nu maintained a consistent download rate, hovering between 34K and 40K weekly. Active users showed a steady increase, starting at 1.8M and reaching over 2M by the quarter's end.
BBVA México experienced a stable download pattern, with weekly figures ranging from 29K to nearly 40K. Active users remained robust, fluctuating slightly but closing the quarter with over 4.3M users.
Banco Azteca downloads were steady around 17K to 20K per week. The app saw a slight decline in active users from 1.15M to 1.12M, indicating a stable user base.
BanCoppel downloads showed a gradual increase, starting at 15K and reaching about 19K. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter with approximately 885K.
