In the second quarter of 2025, fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the iOS platform in Spain showed varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, here's how the top five apps fared.
McDonald’s witnessed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 48.7K in the week of June 9. This rise was accompanied by a steady growth in weekly active users, reaching around 790K by the end of June.
For BURGER KING España, downloads increased gradually throughout the quarter, culminating at 15.1K in the last week of June. Active users also rose, ending the quarter at approximately 547K.
KFC España #PolloPollo exhibited an interesting trend in downloads. After a dip in April, downloads surged to 12.6K in the second week of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 92.2K in early June.
Taco Bell España saw a decrease in weekly downloads early in the quarter, bottoming out at around 2.8K in May, before recovering to 4.3K by the end of June. Active users showed slight fluctuations, ending at approximately 27.5K.
Finally, Telepizza Pizza y Pedidos experienced consistent download numbers, with a slight peak of 4.1K in early June. Active users increased steadily, reaching about 66.9K mid-June before a slight dip.
