In the second quarter of 2025, the top health and fitness applications on the iOS platform in the United States demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter from MyFitnessPal, Inc. saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $3M in late April, experiencing fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight dip to about 90K by the end of June. Active users showed a modest decline from 4.4M to around 4.2M over the same period.
Flo Cycle & Period Tracker by FLO HEALTH UK LIMITED maintained a steady increase in revenue, reaching over $1.2M by early June. Downloads were stable, closing the quarter with around 109K, while active users fluctuated, ending at approximately 9.1M.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run from AllTrails, Inc. experienced significant growth in revenue, peaking at over $1.5M by the end of June. Downloads also showed a positive trend, reaching 100K, and active users increased significantly to 2.3M.
Strava: Run, Bike, Walk saw a gradual rise in revenue, culminating at $1.2M in the last week of June. Downloads increased steadily, topping at 101K, while active users climbed to over 3M.
Finally, Peloton: Fitness & Workouts from Peloton Interactive, Inc. saw a stable revenue trend, finishing the quarter at around $820K. Downloads remained relatively steady, with a slight decrease to 9.2K, and active users showed a decline to approximately 693K.
