In the second quarter of 2025, the insurance app landscape on iOS in Italy showed varied performance across the top five applications. Here, we explore the trends in downloads and active users for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Prima Assicurazioni saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 5.8K at the end of March and ending the quarter with around 4.9K. The app maintained a consistent level of weekly active users, ranging from about 66K down to 53K by the end of June.
Unipol Assicurazioni experienced steady weekly downloads, beginning with 3.6K and peaking at 3.7K towards the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users showed some variability, initially at 101K, dropping to around 87K by the end of June.
Alleanza had a sharp initial drop in downloads from 10K to around 2K, eventually stabilizing near the 2.4K mark by the quarter's end.
MyGenerali exhibited a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 4.7K in late June. The app's weekly active users showed an upward trend from 58K to about 48K by the end of the quarter.
Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni maintained steady weekly downloads around the 2.3K to 2.7K range. Its active user base showed growth, starting at 26K and rising to 27K by the end of June.
