In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top paid iOS games in the UK exhibited varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five games based on Sensor Tower data.
Geometry Dash Lite saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 12.6K and peaking at 15.7K in mid-April. Active users increased significantly from 243K to over 301K in the first two weeks, before stabilizing around 232K by the end of June.
Solitaire from MobilityWare maintained a stable revenue stream, with weekly earnings ranging from $2.4K to $3.8K. Downloads peaked at 9.2K in late April, while active users remained consistent, hovering around 97K by the end of the quarter.
Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! enjoyed a robust revenue stream, with a high of $191.9K in mid-April. Downloads were steady, averaging around 5K weekly, and active users showed a slight rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 107K.
Cut the Rope: Physics Puzzle experienced a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at $411 in late May. Downloads decreased from 7.1K to about 1.2K, while active users rose to over 10K by the quarter's end.
Spider Solitaire: Card Game showed stable revenue, with weekly figures around $1K. Downloads started at 1.6K, dropping to just under 1K by late June, while active users remained steady at approximately 34K.
