In the second quarter of 2025, the European iOS market witnessed notable activity among personal finance apps. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps during this period, based on Sensor Tower data.
Finanzguru - Konten & Verträge by dwins GmbH showed a dynamic trend in its metrics. Weekly downloads surged to approximately 21.2K by the end of June, while revenue peaked at about $136K. Active users also saw an increase, reaching around 748K.
Finary: Budget & Money Tracker from Finary SAS experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a peak at $35K in the final week of June. Downloads were steady, ending the quarter at about 6K, and active users grew to approximately 119K.
Splitwise, developed by Splitwise, Inc., recorded a strong performance with downloads climbing to around 69.5K. Revenue reached $32K by the end of June, and the app maintained a significant active user base of over 2M.
YNAB by You Need A Budget LLC showed a gradual increase in revenue, closing the quarter at $12K. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight rise to 2.5K, while active users increased to approximately 39K.
Budget Planner l Snoop Money from Usnoop Limited saw varied activity. Revenue spiked to $13K at the end of the quarter. Although downloads were modest, active users stabilized around 157K.
