In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top shopping apps on iOS in New Zealand showcased varied trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower. Here’s a look at how these apps fared:
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at around 6.8K in late April. Active users showed a slight decrease from 431K to approximately 456K by the end of June.
Taobao - Online Shopping App experienced a notable increase in downloads mid-April, reaching over 10K. Active users also rose, peaking at 16.5K in late April, before a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
Shop Kmart Low Prices For Life had a steady decline in downloads from 5.6K to about 2.5K. However, active users increased, ending the quarter at approximately 55K.
New World NZ maintained stable download numbers, peaking at around 5K in late June. Active users showed a decline from 45K to about 28K.
Finally, Everyday Rewards experienced consistent weekly downloads, with a peak of 4.9K in late May. Active users remained strong, increasing from 138K to over 145K.
