In the second quarter of 2025, Australia's top air travel apps demonstrated varied performance trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Virgin Australia experienced a consistent download pattern, peaking at around 20.6K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, initially declining from 256K to 218K, before rebounding to approximately 245K.
Qantas Airways showed an upward trend in downloads, reaching nearly 19.8K by late June. Active user numbers were more volatile, with a notable increase from 484K to almost 660K.
Jetstar maintained steady download rates, culminating in a high of 16.2K. Active users initially dropped from 182K to 156K, then climbed back to about 169K.
Velocity Frequent Flyer saw downloads rise to 13.3K mid-quarter before settling at 12.8K. Active users steadily increased from 150K to 184K.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker observed a significant growth in revenue, peaking at $28.7K. Downloads surged to 17.4K in late June, while active users rose from 271K to over 302K.
