In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of beauty retail applications on a unified platform in Romania showcased distinct trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data.
Mein dm saw fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 29.4K in early April before settling around 14.7K by the end of June. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users ranging from 573K to over 762K.
Notino: profumi e cosmetici experienced stable download numbers, with a notable increase to 13.9K in late June. Active users varied slightly, reaching a high of 311K in mid-April and tapering to 258K by the quarter's end.
SEPHORA - Maquillage, Parfum exhibited a steady download rate, with a significant spike to 7.3K mid-June. Active user metrics showed a recovery from a low of 86.9K in early June to 118K by the end of the quarter.
Douglas Parfumerie & Cosmetice downloads were generally low, with a peak of 8K in mid-June. Active users increased steadily, reaching 14.5K by late June.
Finally, Cupio had sporadic download activity, peaking at 4K in mid-April before dropping to 1K by the end of June. Unfortunately, active user data was unavailable for Cupio.
