The carpooling and ridesharing market in Bulgaria saw varied trends across different apps in the second quarter of 2025. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 4.4K in mid-May. The app's active users also grew, reaching approximately 23.6K in early June before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 1.4K weekly. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 26K throughout the quarter.
TUDA — rides and delivery experienced a spike in downloads in mid-May, reaching over 3.1K, although this number tapered off in the following weeks. Active users saw a slight increase early in the quarter, stabilizing around 10.7K by the end.
Baly بلي had a consistent increase in downloads, peaking at about 908 in mid-June. Active users also grew steadily, reaching over 2.1K by the end of June.
inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a modest download rate, with numbers hovering around 220 weekly. Active users showed a gradual increase, ending the quarter at approximately 1.1K.
