Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride from BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU saw weekly downloads fluctuate between 16.6K and 22.4K, with a notable peak in late April. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users hovering around 250K to 260K throughout the quarter.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery exhibited a steady increase in downloads, reaching approximately 10.8K in early June. Active users were slightly more variable, ranging from 68K to 78K, with a noticeable dip in mid-June.
Uber - Request a ride experienced a modest increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 7.4K in late April. The app's active user count remained stable, fluctuating between 129K and 140K.
Shaxi had a significant spike in downloads in late May, reaching over 18K, before stabilizing to around 5K by the end of June. This surge reflects a growing interest in the app during the quarter.
Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained consistent download numbers, averaging around 2K weekly, with active users ranging from 18K to 19K.
