In the second quarter of 2025, Denmark's dating app scene showed dynamic trends across the top five applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced various shifts in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat showed a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, starting at around $234K and peaking at $276K by late April. Downloads hovered around 1.5K weekly, with a slight increase in mid-June to 1.9K. Active users saw a steady rise from 35.1K to a peak of 41.3K in early May.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at approximately $38.2K at the end of June. The app's downloads remained stable, ranging from 2K to 2.4K weekly. Active users slightly decreased from 34.2K to around 27.9K over the quarter.
Badoo Dating: Meet New People experienced a revenue peak of $32K in the final week of June. Download numbers saw a decline from 826 to 477 during the quarter. Active user engagement fluctuated, peaking at 6.4K in early May before dropping to 4.2K by the end of June.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat showed a revenue increase toward the end of the quarter, reaching $24.1K. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 300 weekly, while active users decreased from 6.5K to 4K through the quarter.
Lastly, Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends saw a moderate revenue peak of $15.5K in late May. The app's downloads were stable, with a slight increase to 420 by the end of June. Active user numbers remained around 1.2K to 1.4K throughout the quarter.
