In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top meal kits and specialty foods applications in Ireland showcased some interesting trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower's unified platform data.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with 2K downloads and seeing a slight drop to 1.4K by mid-April. However, downloads picked up again towards the end of the quarter, finishing strong at approximately 1.6K. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users hovering around 42K to 45K throughout the quarter.
Vivino: Drink The Right Wine saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $864 by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 300 to 400 per week. The app's active user count fluctuated, peaking at 6.9K in April before tapering off to around 5K by the end of the quarter.
DropChef showed a declining trend in downloads, starting the quarter with 288 downloads and dropping to just 55 by the end of June. Despite this, revenue data was not available for this period.
LIVELONG had minimal activity with downloads, peaking slightly at 23 in late June. Revenue data was not recorded for this app during the quarter.
Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery maintained a small but consistent user base, with active users fluctuating slightly around the 50 mark. Download numbers were minimal, with a peak of 12 in early April.
