In the second quarter of 2025, fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Sweden showed varying performance trends across downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps according to Sensor Tower data.
McDonald’s started strong with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 12.2K in early April. However, a gradual decline was observed, ending the quarter with around 7.3K downloads. Active users saw a peak of about 263K in mid-April, followed by a decrease, stabilizing at about 202K by the quarter's end.
Max Express experienced an initial surge in downloads, reaching 13.8K at the start of April. This number declined steadily, closing June with approximately 5.5K downloads. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at around 179K before dropping to 141K.
Burger King Sverige maintained a relatively stable download rate, with numbers hovering around 3K weekly. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 26K and rising to over 30K by the end of June.
Espresso House saw downloads fluctuate between 1.6K and 2.4K, with active users starting at 134K, dipping to 97K mid-quarter, and recovering to about 100K.
KFC Sweden downloads ranged from 1.4K to 2.3K, while active users showed minor fluctuations, maintaining around 19K throughout the quarter.
