In the second quarter of 2025, the Middle East’s top food and drink applications on a unified platform showcased diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement. Data sourced from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing patterns across these leading apps.
Keeta - Food Delivery by Kangaroo Limited experienced a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at 235K and ending the quarter at around 132K. The app maintained a robust active user base, reaching a peak of approximately 1.64M in late April.
talabat: Food, grocery & more saw its downloads range from 62.7K to 98K, with a notable spike to 81.9K in early June. Its active users demonstrated resilience, peaking at nearly 2.99M mid-June.
Ninja - نينجا had a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 82K and 113K. Active users varied, starting at 2.11M and ending at approximately 1.87M, with a dip in mid-June.
HungerStation downloads started at 141K, decreasing to 93.8K by the end of the quarter. The app’s active user base hit a high of 5.79M at the start, with fluctuations throughout the period.
Kudu Restaurant - Saudi Arabia experienced a decline in downloads from 122K to 36.5K. However, active users showed a peak of 252K in early June before a drop towards the quarter's end.
