In the second quarter of 2025, Ireland's top medical apps, including Vhi, Connect Patient, HSE Health App, Pippo, and Laya App, demonstrated varied performance metrics across a unified platform, encompassing both iOS and Android.
Vhi showed a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.4K and ending the quarter at nearly the same figure. The app maintained a robust user base with weekly active users hovering around 60K, peaking at 66K mid-June.
Connect Patient experienced fluctuations in downloads, beginning with 2.2K and reaching a peak of 2.5K in early June. However, data on active users remains unavailable for this period.
The HSE Health App saw a significant increase in downloads, starting at 3.1K and peaking at 6.1K by late June. This upward trend indicates growing interest and engagement from users.
Pippo had a mixed performance with a notable spike to 2.1K downloads in early April but generally exhibited a downward trend towards the end of the quarter.
Lastly, the Laya App maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 800-900 weekly downloads. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 30K throughout the quarter.
