2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the second quarter of 2025, the navigation and maps app category in Colombia showed interesting trends across the top five applications on a unified platform. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated varying performance in terms of downloads and active users.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from 52.3K to 65.7K. The app saw a peak in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users fluctuated between 4.5M and 5.2M, with notable increases in late June.
Google Maps Go experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at 23.7K and reaching up to 32.2K by the end of June. The active user base showed a gradual increase, peaking at approximately 18M in the final week.
Google Earth had steady weekly downloads between 7.9K and 10K, with a slight uptick in mid-June. Active users for Google Earth increased from 120K to around 153K over the quarter.
Transiteca showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, moving from 3.5K in early April to 12.3K by the end of June. Active users varied, with a notable rise to approximately 53K in the last week.
Finally, Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps had a stable download rate, peaking at 3.7K in late April. The app’s weekly active users saw minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with around 2.3K users.
