2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the second quarter of 2025, shooter games in New Zealand saw varied performance across key metrics. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five games.
Call of Duty®: Mobile from Activision Publishing, Inc. showcased a strong revenue increase, peaking at nearly $49.4K at the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 1.7K and reaching a high of 2.3K mid-April. Active users consistently grew, culminating in a high of 16.9K by the quarter's end.
Delta Force, published by Level Infinite, experienced a decline in both revenue and downloads after a strong start post-launch. Revenue dropped from $2.2K to just under $500, while downloads decreased from 12.1K to 378. The active user base also shrunk from 9.1K to 2.6K.
PUBG MOBILE by Tencent Mobile International Limited maintained relatively stable performance with revenue starting at $47.7K and ending at $19.9K. Downloads hovered around the 1K mark throughout the quarter, with active users consistently around 9.5K.
Camo Sniper from SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD showed minimal revenue, peaking at $31 by the end of June. Downloads and active users saw a downward trend, with downloads dropping from 645 to 485 and active users decreasing from 17.5K to 17.1K.
Finally, Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN by GARENA INTERNATIONAL I PRIVATE LIMITED saw revenue climb to nearly $12K by the quarter's end. Downloads remained steady, peaking at 945 in mid-April, while active users hovered around 23.5K.
