In the third quarter of 2025, air travel apps in Saudi Arabia demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on the Android platform.
Saudia, developed by Saudi Arabian Airlines, experienced fluctuating weekly downloads. Starting with 8.7K at the end of June, downloads spiked to over 63K by late August before settling at around 32K by the end of September. The app's active user base saw a significant rise, peaking at nearly 296K in mid-August before dropping to 182K by the end of the quarter.
flynas maintained a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 7.3K to 13.8K throughout the quarter. Active users exhibited an increase from 145K at the start of July to around 137K by the end of September, with a notable peak of nearly 196K in mid-September.
The flyadeal App showed stable download figures, typically between 5K and 12.7K. Active users rose steadily, reaching over 102K by the end of September, up from approximately 69K at the start of the quarter.
Qatar Airways witnessed a varied download pattern, beginning with 1.5K and peaking at 10.7K in mid-July. Active users fluctuated, starting at 6K and reaching a high of 16.8K towards the quarter's end.
Finally, WINGIE - Book Cheap Flights saw a steady rise in downloads, from 4.3K to over 5.2K by late September. Active users increased from 39K to 43.7K over the same period.
