During the third quarter of 2025, the ridesharing landscape in Latin America on the Android platform showcased interesting trends. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps in the region.
Request a ride maintained a strong presence, with weekly downloads peaking at around 647K in late July. Active users consistently increased, reaching approximately 37.4M by the end of September.
inDrive. Rides with fair fares saw its downloads peak at 413K in mid-July. The app's active user base also grew steadily, climbing to 14.3M by the end of the quarter.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides recorded a notable peak in downloads, with a high of 436K in late July. Active users increased to 23.8M in early September, before slightly declining to 23M by quarter's end.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a peak in downloads of 310K in mid-July. The app's active users grew to nearly 4M by late September, demonstrating a positive trend.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a peak in downloads at 271K in late July. Active users fluctuated but ended the quarter around 6.6M.
