In the third quarter of 2025, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in Peru showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced a consistent increase in downloads, reaching a peak of approximately 56K in early August before stabilizing. Weekly active users grew significantly over the quarter, starting at 2.8M and climbing to over 3.1M by the end of September.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw its downloads fluctuate, peaking at around 47K in late July. Active users showed an overall upward trend, increasing from 1.2M at the start of the quarter to about 1.3M by the end.
Uber - Request a ride maintained steady download numbers throughout the quarter, with a notable increase to 18K in late July. Active users also rose, starting from 728K and reaching over 770K by the end of September.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a modest increase in downloads, peaking at around 9.7K in late July. Active users showed an upward trend, growing from 690K to approximately 751K over the quarter.
Cabify had stable download numbers, with a slight increase to 7.2K in mid-September. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, ending the quarter at about 332K.
