In the third quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Turkey saw varied performance across the top five apps on the Android platform. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, delves into the weekly downloads and active user trends for these apps.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 49.6K and peaking mid-quarter around 54.5K before declining to 25.2K by the end of September. Active user numbers showed a similar pattern, beginning at 281K, dipping to 213K, and then rising again to 329K.
TAG Sürücü demonstrated a significant increase in downloads, starting at 8.6K and climbing to a high of 52K in mid-August. This increase was mirrored in active users, which grew from 16K to 25K by the end of the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 20K and 29K. The app's active users remained robust, averaging around 350K for most of the quarter, peaking at 393K in late August.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw stable download figures, hovering around 7K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent as well, with figures slightly above 35K.
Finally, BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus started the quarter with downloads at 6.7K, experiencing a slight decline towards the end, stabilizing at 4.8K. Active users reflected a similar trend, beginning at 114K, peaking at 123K, and ending at 118K.
