2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the third quarter of 2025, the top five consumer finance apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom demonstrated various trends in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Monzo - Mobile Banking maintained a consistent download pattern, peaking at approximately 59K in early July. Active user numbers showed a slight increase, reaching around 5.1M by the end of September.
Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade experienced a stable download rate, with a notable rise to 46.5K in late September. Active users displayed a significant upward trend, climbing to over 3.1M by the quarter's end.
Lloyds Mobile Banking saw a boost in downloads mid-quarter, reaching 35.9K in late September. The app's active user base also increased steadily, closing at nearly 3.4M.
For NatWest Mobile Banking, downloads surged in the second half of the quarter, peaking at 64K in late September. Active users rose to approximately 2.6M by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, the Nationwide Banking App showed a steady download increase, with numbers reaching 23.3K in late August. Active users also climbed, ending the quarter at around 2.2M.
