2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of leading consumer finance applications on the Android platform in the United States showcased intriguing trends.
Chime – Mobile Banking saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 142K by the end of July, while weekly active users fluctuated, reaching approximately 4.2M in mid-September.
Capital One Mobile experienced a steady rise in downloads, culminating in about 89K in late September. Active users showed variability, with numbers nearing 9.2M at the end of the quarter.
OnePay – Mobile Banking demonstrated a significant increase in downloads, reaching approximately 113K in the last week of September. Active users also grew, peaking at around 1.35M at the quarter's close.
Chase Mobile maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter, finishing at about 49K. Active users, however, remained strong, nearing 9.6M.
Lastly, Wells Fargo Mobile® showed moderate download activity, with a high of around 56K in late July. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 7.4M.
