2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the third quarter of 2025, the drawing and coloring app category on the Android platform in the United States saw notable trends among the top five applications. Using data from Sensor Tower, we can observe the weekly performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular apps.
Color Pop - Fun Coloring Games by MWM - AI Music and Creative Apps showed a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, starting at around $14.5K and dipping to $8.6K mid-quarter before rebounding to $12.2K by the end of September. Downloads began at 27K, dipped mid-quarter, and surged to nearly 40K in the final week. Active users mirrored this trend, growing from 175K to over 253K.
Tap Color Pro: Color By Number from Tap Color Studio experienced relatively stable weekly revenue, ranging from $7.3K to $9.2K. Downloads peaked at 8.8K early in the quarter but declined to around 3.4K. Active users decreased from 325K to about 193K, with some fluctuations along the way.
Paint by Number: Coloring Game by Oakever Games maintained consistent revenue, starting at $6.5K and ending at $7.5K. Downloads started strong at 20.5K, dipped mid-quarter, and rose again to 20.2K by September's close. The app's active users remained stable overall, slightly increasing to 236K.
Dazzly: Color by Number Game from GEODE saw an increase in revenue, starting at $4.7K and peaking at $6.4K. Downloads showed an initial drop from 10K to 6.5K before climbing back up to 6.6K. Active users started at 14.5K and ended at 11K, showing a general decline.
Finally, Cross-Stitch World by Inertia Software displayed steady revenue growth, starting at $5.4K and reaching $6.8K by the quarter's end. Active users, however, declined from 183 to 61 over the same period.
